From the classrooms of Kalrashukla to the operating rooms of St. Theresa’s Hospital, Hyderabad, Dr. Zahid Borbhuyan’s journey is one of dedication, perseverance, and achievement. As an Orthopedic Junior Resident, he continues to impact in his medical career, inspiring future doctors along the way.
A Passion for Orthopedics
Dr. Zahid pursued his MBBS at SMBT Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Nashik. His impressive milestones include:
• Successfully performing intramedullary nailing and plating of long bone fractures
• Assisting multiple knee and hip replacement surgeries
• Co-authoring a systematic review on the all-inside technique for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
• Being an active member of MSAI
Kalrashukla: Building Dreams Brick by Brick
Dr. Zahid credits the institution for more than just academic excellence:
