Step-by-Step Guide to Completing the JEE Main Application
The application process for JEE Main is entirely online, and candidates must follow specific steps to ensure successful registration. This blog outlines the complete process from account creation to fee payment.
1. Registration and Account Creation
• Visit the official JEE Main website and select a preferred identification method (DigiLocker, ABC ID, etc.).
• Complete the required personal and contact information to generate a unique Application Number, which will be used for subsequent logins.
2. Filling in the Application Form
• Personal Information: Enter details such as full name, gender, date of birth, and parents’ names.
• Educational Qualifications: Provide Class 10 and Class 12 results, the name of the institution, and board details.
• Choice of Examination Centers: Select four preferred cities from the list to specify exam location preferences.
3. Uploading Documents
• Photograph: Recent photo (10 kb–200 kb) with 80% face coverage and no mask.
• Signature: Clear signature in JPG format, 4 kb–30 kb.
• PwD Certificate (if applicable): Scanned certificate in PDF, 50 kb–300 kb.
4. Fee Payment
• Pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.
• Upon payment, download the confirmation page and keep it for future reference.
