Sanskruti Khandare: Kalrashukla Batch 2019
Share
From facing academic challenges to embracing cultural fests, Sanskruti Khandare, a 2019 Kalrashukla graduate and current intern doctor at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital (LTMGH), Sion, has navigated the rollercoaster ride of her 5.5-year journey with passion and resilience.
A Unique MBBS Journey
Unlike many who see MBBS as purely academic, Sanskruti chose to enjoy her experience fully. “I participated in many cultural fests during MBBS, which I couldn’t do in my 11th and 12th years,” she shares. Balancing academics and extracurriculars was her way of making the journey memorable.
The Kalrashukla Influence
Reflecting on her time at Kalrashukla, Sanskruti credits Datta Sir and Aditya Sir for their relentless motivation after weekly tests. The structured approach, including subject-wise tests and homework MCQs after every lecture, played a key role in her NEET success.
One of the biggest game-changers for her was the Grand Test Series after syllabus completion. “I strongly encourage everyone to take these mock tests. They not only boost your confidence but also help you overcome the fear of the real NEET exam,” she advises.
The Power of Mentorship
Sanskruti fondly remembers Pooja Ma’am, Prakash Sir, and Kamlesh Sir: “Their never-give-up attitude toward every student was truly inspiring,” she says.
Even during times when Sanskruti lost confidence, all her teachers stood by her unwaveringly. “They treated us not just as students but as their own children,” she recalls gratefully.
Words of Advice for Future Doctors
Sanskruti’s advice is simple yet powerful:
• Revision is Key: “Pooja Ma’am always said the key to success is revision, and I followed it religiously. Revision after every lecture is essential because it’s humanly impossible to remember everything without practice.”
• Stay Consistent: Solve 10 MCQs per subject daily.
• Give Your All: “For the next one or two years, put in every drop of your sweat because it will count.”
A Thought to Live By
“As you sow, so shall you reap. Build a strong foundation because if your basics are strong, no one can shake you.”
Looking Ahead
Sanskruti Khandare’s story inspires future students to remain dedicated, find joy in the process, and trust their efforts.
